Product Category Manager
The Role
Zaprinta is a European e-commerce platform specialised in customised promotional products. Our catalogue spans thousands of items across dozens of categories, from textile and drinkware to office supplies and tech accessories.
As Product Category Manager, you will take full ownership of one or more product categories. You will analyse market trends, identify sourcing opportunities, define competitive pricing strategies, and work with our content and technology teams to ensure every product page is optimised for visibility and conversion. Your decisions will directly influence revenue and customer satisfaction across multiple European markets.
Your Responsibilities
- Manage and develop assigned product categories across our European webshops
- Analyse market trends, competitor offerings, and customer demand to identify growth opportunities
- Source new products and negotiate terms with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and quality
- Define and implement pricing strategies that balance margin targets with market competitiveness
- Collaborate with the content team to create compelling product descriptions, images, and landing pages
- Optimise product pages for SEO, including keyword research, metadata, and content structure
- Monitor category performance using analytics tools and adjust strategy based on data
- Work with the development team to improve the product catalogue and filtering experience
- Coordinate product launches and seasonal campaigns with marketing and sales
Your Profile
- 3+ years of experience in category management, e-commerce merchandising, or product management
- Strong analytical skills with experience using data to drive commercial decisions
- Understanding of SEO best practices and how they apply to product pages
- Experience with supplier negotiation and procurement processes
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms, content management systems, and analytics tools
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple categories simultaneously
- Good communication skills in English (French, German, or Dutch is a strong advantage)
- Commercially minded with a genuine interest in products and customer experience
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift quickly
