Full-Stack Developer
The Role
Zaprinta is a European e-commerce platform for customised promotional products. Our technology team builds and maintains the web applications that allow thousands of businesses to design, personalise, and order branded merchandise online.
As a Full-Stack Developer, you will play a central role in developing new features, improving performance, and maintaining our Laravel-based e-commerce platform. You will work across the entire stack, from database queries and API integrations to responsive front-end interfaces, and contribute directly to a product used by customers across multiple countries.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain features across the full stack of our Laravel e-commerce application
- Write clean, well-tested PHP 8+ code following modern best practices and design patterns
- Build responsive, performant front-end interfaces using JavaScript ES6+, HTML, and CSS
- Design and optimise MySQL/MariaDB database schemas and queries
- Integrate third-party APIs for payment processing, product configuration, and order fulfilment
- Work with Docker-based development environments and AWS cloud infrastructure
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architecture decisions
- Monitor application performance and troubleshoot production issues
- Collaborate closely with product, design, and sales teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
Your Profile
- 3+ years of professional experience in full-stack web development
- Strong proficiency in PHP 8+ and the Laravel framework
- Solid experience with JavaScript ES6+, including modern front-end tooling
- Comfortable working with MySQL or MariaDB at scale
- Hands-on experience with Docker for local development and containerised deployments
- Familiarity with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, CloudFront, Elastic Beanstalk) is a strong plus
- Understanding of RESTful API design and third-party integrations
- Knowledge of version control with Git and CI/CD workflows
- Good communication skills in English (French, German, or Dutch is a bonus)
- Proactive, curious, and comfortable working in a small, agile team
